I’m on the ballot to make

Troy City Council

work for you.

My name is Greg Campbell-Cohen and I am proud to be the Democratic and Working Families Party candidate running to represent Troy’s sixth district in this year’s general election. As an experienced community leader, union organizer, and policy professional, I have the passion and knowledge to fight for the working people who make Troy such an extraordinary place to live.

I’ve spent the last decade campaigning for state and local policies and initiatives that protect workers, parents, and children from toxic chemicals and empower them to confront abuses of power. I have also been privileged to serve as a labor delegate, a Capital Streets board member, and the Managing Officer of TIMBER, a public interest group for working people right here in Troy.

Why I’m running

  • Clean and Reliable Drinking Water

Replacing lead service lines, repairing our water mains, and investing in our Department of Public Utilities workers to make sure that the water always comes out of your tap clean and affordable.

  • Rebuilding Troy's Unionized Workforce

Saving taxpayers money and treating our unions fairly by bringing public sector work back in-house and offering rank-and-file workers attractive wages that they can live on.

  • Safe, Secure, and Affordable Housing for All Trojans

Ensuring that working families can always call Troy home by updating our code enforcement practices, improving tenant protections, and investing in new and existing affordable housing units.

  • Demanding Full Financial Transparency

Reining in the Mantello' administration’s opaque and reckless spending practices with heightened oversight standards and more frequent mandatory reporting.
